The new Chief Executive of BA, Keith Williams has vowed to upgrade the carrier's fleet of aircrafts and to 'put some growth back into the business.' His interview with City AM follows the airlines order of 24 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 12 Airbus A380 aircraft to grow the company after it has reduced 15% in size from 10 years ago.
Williams is also remaining firm with the airlines 10,000 workers and union, Unite and is continuing the stance of his predecessor Willie Walsh to keep 'the pay and conditions of our cabin crew must be put on an equal footing with the rest of industry.'
