ITV boosts Spanish Tourism

The award winning ITV comedy series ‘Benidorm’ which is shown on Friday evenings at 9pm has helped to boost bookings the Spanish holiday destination. 

Travelsupermarket.com have reported a 159% increase in searches to the holiday resort whilst the programme is on air. The show exploits the working-class stereotypes that have one thing in common – ‘a quest for getting value for money!’

Benidorm is popular with UK tourists, due to the central night life, free cabaret acts and three large beaches and the package holiday explosion makes fun in the sun accessible to everyone (as demonstrated on the show).
