In a programme aimed at improving tourism and providing greater options for travellers, Aegean Airlines have announced a number of new services due to start this summer.
The number of flights from Athens to London is set to increase and in addition, Aegean will soon be operating aircraft from Larnaca providing services from Cyprus to London.
The plans have been formulated following the decision of the European Commission to prohibit the proposed merger of Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines in January. The decision was taken on the basis that the merged airlines would have too dominant a position in the market.
