Viewers of The Cheltenham Festival may have noticed an unusual sight last week when watching The Ryanair Chase as a protester used the event as a platform to protest against the company.
The man rushed onto the course holding a placard to the cameras as the horses and jockeys raced past him.
Luckily there were no injuries to protester, horses and jockeys. The man was said to be protesting against Ryanair's dismissal of his daughter from the company.
When asked what he though of the event, the airline boss said - “He has to be a bit of an idiot to run out in front of AP McCoy during a race. If some idiot wants to try and make some publicity for himself let him. If he’s prepared to run in front of AP riding a horse, let him,”
