Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Royal Wedding fever is now very much upon us and with it comes the opportunity of taking a long holiday whilst only taking a few days off work.  But as is always the case supply and demand factors are now starting to take effect and the price of an overseas holiday during this period is making people think twice.

Following the announcement of the additional Bank Holiday many travel agents reported a boost in sales as people started to notice the opportunity to get away.  But the recent hike in prices has seen demand dwindle as people are priced out of the market.

So what will you do? Take a break away? Take a trip to London to experience the full pomp and ceremony? Invite your friends around for a BBQ and watch it on the television? Or simply ignore the fact that it is happening at all?

  1. If you are considering getting away from the UK for the Bank Holiday, Greece is a great place to go. Easter is the most important festival in the Greek Orthodox calendar and they celebrate it very enthusiastically!

There will be loads of religious festivals taking place in most towns and villages across the country with beautiful candle-lit processions and fireworks.

The Easter festival is important in every region of Greece but Corfu is particularly famous for its elaborate celebrations.
