Shops Suffer as Holiday Spending is on the Incease

The recent Travel Trends study, which is produced by shows that British people are planning to spend an average of £695.76 per person for their 2011 holiday which equates to a combined annual spend of £153 billion.

The study showed that of the people that were surveyed, 49% have either booked or are planning to book using an online travel agent and only 20% plan to make their booking via a traditional high street shop.
