The Caribbean island of Jamaica is one of the places where the surge in all-inclusive holidays began. There are a good variety of resorts on the island which suits peoples different requirements.
It is hard to go to far wrong with Sandals Royal Caribbean which mixes the best of old fashioned colonial charm and Eastern cuisine. The accommodation is set amid tropical greenery which surrounds a beautiful lagoon.
There are also reggae parties in the evening for those holidaymakers who wish to use some of the energy they have saved during the day.
Another popular resort is the Breezes Grand Resorts and Spa in Negril on the south-west shire of the island. The hotel is located on 22 acres of tropical gardens and features four restaurants and a reggae cafe. All-inclusive packages at Breezes Grand Resort and Spa includes all meals and snacks, drinks, entertainment and water sports.
For the active holidaymaker, the Couples Resort Sans Souci may be just the place. It is situated near to the north coast town of Ocho Rios and the hotel offers tours to the majestic spot of Dunn's River Falls. The resort also features a mineral pool, tennis courts and golf facilities. There are also six bars and four restaurants.
Finally, the coolest place on the island might just be Strawberry Hill. It is located 3,100 feet up in the Blue Mountains and is a former coffee plantation and the former home of Island Records founder Chris Blackwell. The hotel has 12 Georgian-styled cottages and you will be staying in the same place that has been the temporary lodgings of Bob Marley and The Rolling Stones.
So what are you waiting for?
