The hotel giant Starwood has opened its first all inclusive property, located in Costa Rica.
The Westin Resort & Spa Playa Conchal will become all-inclusive from this week following its rebranding from Paradisus. Westin Resorts operate 40 high class resorts around the world and this could be a sign of things to come.
Playa Conchal is situated adjacent to a championship golf facility has been named by Conde Nast Traveller Magazine as one of its top resorts for 2010 and Westin is likely to add its signature touches such as, Westin The Spa, along with a Wesin Workout gym and additional restaurants.
According to a study undertaken by First Choice, all inclusive holidays have seen a 32% rise between 2004 and 2009 and researched conducted in Britain showed that two thirds of holiday makers believe that all inclusive deals make for a more peaceful holiday.
