The head of the Egyptian Businessman Association, Ahmed Balbaa has said that former President Hosni Mubarak needs to be transferred out of Sharm el-Sheikh as his presence is hurting tourism.
Mubarak has been detained in a Sharm el-Sheik hospital since April pending investigations into abuse of power and financial corruption.
The committee will submit documents by next week to Prime Minister Essam Sharaf offering solutions to boost tourism. The current costs through loss of income to Egypt are said to be in the region of US$40m daily.
