A study by MasterCard has found that tomorrows Champions League Final will generate around €52m for the UK economy. This figure is excellent for the country but much less lucrative than for the team that wins tomorrow as a victory for either Barcelona or Manchester United would generate an income of up to €126m for the winning team.
Paul Meulendijk, vice president and head of MasterCard Europe believes that 'this year's historic UEFA Champions League Final will generate an estimated €369m in the UK, Europe and beyond.'
Good luck to Barcelona and Manchester United!
