The readers of The Telegraph newspapers luxury travel supplement, Ultratravel have voted for a select few airlines who they feel provide the best performance in several different categories.
The winner of best worldwide airline went to Emirates. British Airways was the recipient of the Best Business and Best First Class awards with Virgin Atlantic receiving the awards for Best Cabin Staff and Best Airport Lounge. Are these results down to Telegraph readers home bias or are our airlines still the benchmark for high quality long haul travel?
The winner of best city hotel went to the opulent Hotel de Crillon in Paris with Four Seasons being the best luxury chain.
