Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company implement 5 year expansion plan

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has announced a plan to expand the luxury brand with an increase of 36 hotels in various countries by 2016. The plan is epected to cost the company £1.2bn and new resorts are planned for Morocco, Mexico, Cairo, China and Chicago.

The move comes on the back of recent launches in Hong Kong, Dubai and Toronto with a further hotel planned for London. Herve Humler, president and COO at Ritz-Carlton is confident in his brand: “Throughout the world, especially in Asia and the Middle East, we expect to be the leading top tier luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand by 2016.”
